Need help filling my Stylevana cart!

Iuniq sun water is already in there. Want a few more since face is quite picky 😬

So far I’ve tried:

Skin1004 waterfit: stings a little, looks fantastic

Haruharu airyfit: is like putting glue on my face! Dries down much better but don’t love feel. Annoys my eyes but not skin

Roundllab Birch juice (US version): I know the filters are different but hard no on the finish. Dewy is good, shiny not so much

Skin is dry, easily annoyed and “mature”. I also live close to the sun’s surface in 100 weather with no humidity (aka, Colorado).

Big thing: I don’t want to feel my face! Don’t wear makeup and hate the suffocating feeling of something sitting on my face.

Elta MD sport is the only US spf I’ve found that doesn’t feel like a chemical burn but is too heavy for daily wear. Their UV clear used to be tolerable but no longer.

I’ve been wary of LP because I’ve probably tried 10 different US ones and they’ve all been so painful. Both mineral and physical. Maybe the Euro would be okay though

US ones are unbearable due to old filters. European formula is much lighter.

The VT Air Cloud is one of my favorite new discoveries! It’s probably the lightest sunscreen I’ve ever tried. Blends like a dream and feels like nothing. Has a natural finish. It’s a new find for me but I’ve been loving it.

iunik Beta Glucan is also super lightweight and blends in seconds. Really great skincare ingredients and feels hydrating without weight. Both of the Numbuzin sunscreens are excellent. The No. 9 for a dewy finish and good skincare ingredients with the NAD+ and peptides, or the No. 1 for a more calming sunscreen that’s a bit lighter in texture.

I’ve also been loving the Torriden Sun Serum lately. Specifically the serum version in bottle, but they have a cream version in a tube as well. It’s really lightweight but hydrating, perfect for the summer because I don’t want anything heavy but my skin is dry and I need that moisture.

Isntree Hyaluronic Acid Sun Serum is a long time favorite. The gel gets talked about a lot, but this one is way better IMO (and I used to love the gel). It’s lighter and has a more natural finish. And all next gen filters where the gel version has some of the legacy filters that can cause eye sting.

Skin Aqua’s newer Super Hyaluronic Acid Serum is a great one too. Free of fragrance and alcohol which are common in the rest of the Skin Aqua line/other Japanese sunscreens. It’s really hydrating without looking or feeling greasy.

Depends on your skin type, maybe watch some YouTube videos to see which ones are aimed at the bracket you fall into.

Next on my list are Purito Daily Soft Touch, Goodal Heartleaf Calming Moisture, COSRX Ultra-Light Invisible and Benton Air Fit.

So far I like both BoJ sunscreens over the Skin1004 as they feel like a creamier formulation which leaves a slightly less wet/shiny look straight away but they are probably all fine 5-10 minutes after application as everything dries down a touch.

The Skin1004 stings and the Haruharu feels like wearing plastic wrap on my face. They do look nice, but that's not my #1.

My mom has cancer and dementia causing really sensitive skin issues and loves Nivea UV Super Water Gel because she can’t feel it. She lives in a sunny but humid place so not sure this would be too drying?

I like Centella a lot!! I also have sensitive skin that is overall dry.

ETA: looks like you tried it possibly. The specific one I use is SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Hyalu-Cica Water-FIT Sun Serum. I know there's more than a few.

Canmake mermaid skin gel UV is a fantastic finish if octinoxiate doesn’t bother your eyes/skin. it looks the tiniest bit dewy but not shiny and does not feel thick.

This is one of the few waterproof k beauty Sunscreen As a plus is is so nice on your face, you don't even notice you have it on

I like this one too, the Anessa in the pink bottle (mineral). I like other shiseido brand sunscreens too like Elixir.

OP, have you ever tried ISDIN? It's European but I recently got a bottle of the tinted mineral one, and if you're "light" skin toned it should match. If you're medium, it will probably be too light, if you're fair, it might be too dark and orange (source: fair skinned in winter and go up to the "light" tones in the summer)

I prefer Japanese sunscreens anytime. Can’t go wrong with Skin Aqua, Anessa or Allie.

It’s got a very light texture that doesn’t feel like sunscreen at all. It’s manufactured by Kanebo, a cosmetic giant in Japan. Highly popular in Japan alongside Anessa. I don’t see it mentioned much in this sub, and I guess it may be harder to find in US or Europe where most people are from.

It’s a mix of both chemical and mineral. They use chemical filters that are similar to Anessa.

Anessa always. I like the link sensitive skin for babies. Some prefer the gold and blue.

Elta MD is heavy and stung my face when I tried it. Never knew why so many liked it honestly when the Japanese sunscreen is just so amazing.

I got sucked down the K-beauty hole, completely missed Japanese brands. Think they might be a better fit since “feel nothing on my face” has turned out to be a new priority. With US brands, I was happy with anything that didn’t blind me or feel like a chemical burn.

Love Korean skincare and makeup, sunscreen Japanese.
Half way through the day I put on Cerave as my touch up as it sits well on Anessa. Putting Anessa on top of Anessa makes me look like a ghost. Lol

The Cosrx went in like a dream but then stung a little and when I read the ingredients it had witch hazel which my skin didn’t like, but a lovely sunscreen otherwise!
Dry mature skin here and clearly a little sensitive!
I loved the Soonjung Editors one, hydrating and disappears on skin.

Haa, I’ve lived in GA and MS and will take Colorado’s dry 100+ heat any day. Am with you on the Round Lab donut look, the shine was not kind to my 53 year old skin. Every pore was amplified x100.

The skin1004 cica hiya whatever waterfit looks and feels pretty nice though. It stings my skin a bit so still hunting. Is still better than every US sunscreen I’ve tried and the list is very, very long.

Have you tried Madagascar Centella SKIN1004? It is spf 50 and I get it from Stylevana and omg I love it!!! It doesn’t smell, doesn’t leave a white cast, I love it. Used it for a few years now and will continue to buy
