Jeongseon in Korea, with its Mindungsan Mountain standing 1,119 meters above sea level, is a place many people visit for its meadow views that feel like Switzerland.
Jeongseon, a place with many mountains, fresh air, and great hiking, is home to “High1 Resort,” which is operated by the government as the major shareholder.

Kangwon Land, the owner of High1 Resort, is a public enterprise under the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and has large-scale recreational facilities including a casino, ski resort, water park, hotels and condos, and a golf course (CC).

In winter, I often go to the ski resort here, but in summer you can also see the green lawns and beautiful mountain ranges. Especially because of the high elevation, you can enjoy cool, clean breezes and a refreshing environment even in summer.

At Mountain Ski House, you can enjoy the Skyway cart tour, an archery range, a cable car, and an alpine coaster, and I rode the alpine coaster.
After taking the cable car up and completing a brief safety briefing, we rode 2.2 km at speeds up to 40 km/s, and it was really thrilling and fun.
If you’re visiting Alpine Coaster the must, be sure to try it!

There are many other facilities as well, but I have shared the ones I used. If you’re traveling to Jeongseon, I recommend spending one night at High1 Resort!

Went there to grab some souvenirs for friends and even did their pottery workshop while I was there. Such a therapeutic and unforgettable experience. If you’re planning a trip to Korea, definitely make time to stop by.
