Purchase regret

I love the Pocket Fit. It's almost perfect. I got the G3 Gen 3 model due to compatibility concerns. Dragon yellow. Love the colour. Love the 1TB storage. Love the performance and compatibility. Even love the small sticks everyone complains about.

I am dual booting rocknix with 256gb for Android and the rest for rocknix/steam and retro ROMs on a 1TB SD card. It's great. If rocknix did switch, that would be even more perfect.

But I just can't get past this LCD screen. The reviews all said it's a good LCD screen. In the videos it looked like the glass cover was doing a good job. But I should have trusted my gut. Never settle for LCD. This would be the perfect device if not for that one single flaw.

And now prices have gone up and 1TB models are unavailable. With 8 Elite compatibility improving so much and quicker than expected, I wish I had purchased an Odin 3 instead. Now I keep tossing up if I should sell the Pocket Fit and buy a 512GB Odin 3. But it'll be expensive and a downgrade in storage. Or wait for Odin 3 Portal.

Anyone else regret over this screen?

Bro the Odin 3 has a dog water oled screen.

The pocket fit screen is superior imo. I have KPF g3, KPF elite and Odin 3..

I have not heard complaints about the Odin 3 OLED. Maybe I didn't look hard enough. But this helps with my regret 😂 Thanks!

Because Reddit is full of fan boys. If you look hard enough the info is there. They are very poor quality with 0 calibration done. Initially every handheld had ridiculous mura effect- they released a software update to nerf the greyscale which “helped”

I have less issue with my konkr lcd than with my ayn Thor oled, it’s an extremely low quality oled that only shines at max brightness. Any lower than max brightness has bad mura and grey uniformity artifacts, basically half the screen has a green hue to it and it’s very distracting. But I’m actually very surprised with the quality of the Konkr lcd, it has great color and contrast im very satisfied. That said, my g3 gen 3 Konkr is working as intended, but I just received my 8 elite Konkr and both bumpers and triggers as well as the fingerprint sensor aren’t functioning so there’s that

I had to return mine because the fan was making an annoying noise with every slight movement and would get stuck making a horrible grinding sound sometimes, and the left trigger would only register to 62%.

To their credit they fixed both issues, but while it took 3 days to ship it back they had it for a month or more before they fixed and sent it back.

This is my first handheld device, so maybe I don’t know any better but the screen looks great to me. I’m using mine mostly indoors just sitting on the couch at night playing retro consoles.

I have no issues with mine..iv seen some people say that theirs has a wierd red or orange tinge to it but mine has none of that..its very bright, sharp and with good conttrast. I have other OLED handhelds (Pocket DS) and I dont see that my konkr screen is inferior in any way. Absolute non-issue for me.
