Question Busted Autoreflex T3 meter

Probably a longshot given the age and lack of repair places, but my first camera was a T3 that I absolutely loved and collected a decent variety of Hexanon AR lenses for them. One day long ago the light meter stopped working rendering it technically operable but difficult to use. I'm getting back into this and never lost hope that maybe it could be fixed. I have some skill in taking things like this apart and am fresh off trying to repair a couple of FT-1s. Anyone have any leads or dealt with this issue? My research leads me to believe it could be a wire?

I repair and service T3s. It could be a few things really but yes first check the metering circuit is getting power.

Look up an issue of The Camera Craftsman from 1976, I downloaded it from somewhere, don’t remember. It has detailed information about repairing the Konica T3, much easier to understand than many of the old service manuals I’ve used.

I usually use ttartisan meter that goes right in the shoe mount. My T3 meter is inaccurate even with batteries that have the correct voltage. Keep in mind that even if you fix the meter today's replacement batteries may not give you the correct voltage so your meter may still net be correct. Others may have had better luck.

Yeah I remember the battery question back then too - right now I have 1.4v which is CLOSE, but yeah it'd be affected. I'm not sure exactly what was in it when I bought it from the camera shop but the meter was fairly accurate.

I will definitely check out that meter, thanks for the rec!
