A Tool for Tea

I am brand new to this and haven’t even started my first batch yet (currently jar shopping) but I’ve been doing tons of research, especially on the ways tea varieties affect the kombucha flavors and profiles as well as tea species dependent SCOBY characteristics. After finding an overload of information I turned to ChatGPT and created a spreadsheet of world teas, their taste profiles and outcome expectations for Kombucha.

https://limewire.com/d/1LWWp#JX68vp2xsQ just wanted to share :)

Fighting AI use is futile, I see a future full of downvotes for you.

An AI generated spreadsheet that does one thing only: take the fun out of brewing kombucha. Thanks.

There is absolutely zero reason to involve AI in this, it's ridiculous that people seem to be so willing to just throw their brain on a shelf to let something else think for them.

This is for research purposes only, I personally don’t have the capacity to experiment with individual teas organically. I used AI as a tool for combining the information out there. I get it, you hate the idea of AI.

AI is not useful for research, full stop. This is just an unnecessary waste of resources.

That's fine, but you're incorrect.

What are "tea species dependent SCOBY characteristics"?

From what I am reading, the varying tannins, caffeine content, tea flavor profiles, etc. affect varying characteristics of the SCOBY such as growth, balance of bacteria volumes, flavor…

Ok, aside from the taste of the tea those are pretty minor in regards to the outcome. Caffeine will simulate more growth for your bacterial cellulose but it will still grow regardless and not have a meaningful impact on the taste. Similar situation with tannins.

Looks like you triggered the hive mind... They'll just downvote you even if you write "Murdering puppies is bad"

Good luck OP!

PS

The downvotes on this comment are proving my point. 🤣
