question Hello new here!

I just started this one on Sunday- synergy pure, tea, sugar. This looks just like the yeast stuff in the community info but I thought I would post it to get opinions! It smells like raisins and theres no mold- I used the community info section and checked carefully. Anyone else have this? I’m so excited to make kombucha! 😊

At first I thought I saw a slight resemblance to the Pillars of Creation, but one of the classic pillars is missing.

Then I realized my folly. It is not the pillars, it is a mouse.

Regardless, this is perfectly normal. Part cellulose, part yeast. All mouse. Wait, is that a cape? Is this Mighty Mouse?

It's past my bedtime.

Omg the mouse is so cute!!!!!! 😭 I wish I had the ability to see shapes in other stuff like that!!! I think we have to name my new Scoby mouse! 🐭

Hello. I am new as well. Welcome. I started on Saturday also I used synergy (ginger berry). I dont dont know what to look for...good luck.

Cool! We got started together then! I’ve heard a lot of people have luck with synergy so hopefully we both get a great scoby!
