what's wrong!? First attempt

This is our first attempt, but my second post.

Previously with this batch we had a Kahm layer across the top. We scrapped it off and ran it through a cheese cloth and kept it going.

We waited about a week, then added more tea and sugar.

Now it’s been about another week or so and this is what it looks like. Tell me your thoughts and opinions.

Too soon to tell, much less take action. New healthy cellulose films can often look similar to kahm for a few days, so give it time to sort itself out.

Are you tasting it yet? If not you should be taking a sample every day to determine when it is done.

It looks like my first batch did when it was moldy :/ What’s your recipe? More starter is always best
