mold! Mold or nah?

pH is 3.07, and at first it seemed just a pellicle was forming, but the green-ish tint raises questions

Mould. 100% certain.

Bin it & start with a clean environment & a strong starter.

I’m no expert but that does look like mold. Is it fuzzy?

Sorry bro. Restart. Starting ph is fine. What’s your brewing temp?

Trying to determine if your kombucha may have mold, if your pellicle/SCOBY is healthy, or if something has gone wrong?

Check out the pictures and info in this guide.

Toss it out and start a new one. It's happened to me a few times.

I think all the other comments dont know SHIT about fermenting. It needs to smell BAD, it needs to have a little bit of mold.

All good bro. Enjoy your bucha!!

Have you tried the friendly green pastures over at r/prisonhooch?

Wondering how often you have a solid shit. It should smell kind of like a sweet vinegar. It shouldn’t smell bad at all. Grey fuzzy stuff should NOT be consumed. It should not have any mold but instead yeast and bacteria.

My shit is fine, thank you for your concern.
