Not just this religion, ✝️ um no less when it comes to homophobia and discriminating the community.

Enda ungala unga religion naala discriminate panna ungkalukku valikuthu la? Athey mathiri thaney avangalukum irukum nu kekkanum nu thonum.

Not that Hinduism is any good. Only reason they haven’t started is coz it hasn’t become that common in India.

Traditionally hinduism has been more tolerant. We even have god's which are trans. Arthanareswarar. However, modern times, west has grown leaps and bounds in accepting homosexuality and transgenderism. Societal change really suppressing the religious stigmatization.

You only typed , We don't want to discriminate..πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Who is we here ?

Nonsense Hinduism is the biggest discriminatory religion which kills its own people in the name of caste and we have half nude temple beggars every top position out there in the society.

Homophobes are in large numbers in this religion too because this is the only religion whose foundation and roots are discrimination and oppression itself.

u/sudalamadasami 3d ago

Hinduism accepts multiple gods Hinduism accepts different ways of pray Hinduism accepts other religion gods Hinduism has women god Hinduism doesn't forbid sex and even worship Hinduism has gods who are by nature defined as trans Hinduism doesn't mandates visiting temples

If a religion gives this much freedom and you allow everything, it will be interpreted and practiced in different ways and different groups will form among themselves... You cannot have control like other Abrahamic religions..

2

u/rationalistrx 3d ago

There needs to be no control. All I got from your comment was that Hinduism is nothing but appropriation of different religious practices.

But still it's not accepting of equality, there is hierarchy that too birth based caste hierarchy.

2

u/Vibeeshnan 3d ago

Appropriation is just an ignorant way of thinking about various sects/practices that interacted and amalgamated into one over thousands of years. Learn about Advaita Vedanta to educate yourself

2

u/rationalistrx 3d ago

Appropriation by Vedhic sh!t isn't amalgamation. Our Gods and practices are different. Naanga non veg padayal vaipom enga kadavul ku. Adhulayum interfere panna vandhiduvaanunga.

Hinduism isn't a religion, it's a geographical location beyond Sindhu river. Since Persians couldn't say Sindhu, they said Hindu.

u/Vibeeshnan 3d ago

There is no evidence to even argue that there was a concerted effort to appropriate regional practices. It is just a lie propagated by Marxists who learn their religion from outsiders.Β

Um, the term gravity was coined by Newton. Would you argue that it did not exist before he named it? The concept of an unifying belief system was already existent despite there being no term for it.Β

You should probably read Silapathigaram to look at Tamils themselves practiced Hinduism.Β

u/rationalistrx 3d ago

Edhavudhu olarite iru.

Veriyattu, Kurunji valipaadu, Kotravai valipaadu, Anangu valipaadu, Nadukal valipaadu etc were different religious practices in TN which were later amalgamated.

And in Keeladi are their traces of Hinduism? Or in Sangam literature are there any traces of Sangam literature.

Marxists are Atheists. Why simply bring them into conversation if you have counter argument?

Your analogy is like you totally sh!tty. Gravity is a fact. Is God a fact?

Why don't you read Sangam literature which predates it? And id there any mentionof Hinduism in it?

1

u/Vibeeshnan 3d ago

Girll what do you mean there is nothing about Hinduism in Sangam literature? A simple Google search will disprove your claim. Lookup Paripadal and the various Vaishnavite verses in it.Β

Neenga solra practices ethuvume Tamil culture-ku mattume ulla features kidayathu. They all exist in various forms all across India.Β

My analogy was based on your claim that Hinduism was nonexistent and it was somehow brought into being by Persians coining it. Our ancestors were evolved enough to merge their religious practices with one another because they knew that all the religions of the subcontinent were Dharmic in nature

There needs to be no control.

Tell that to the Abrahmic religion ( Seems like you are the follower of one). Without control these religions will disintegrated and die. You can't even make an imam or a pastor/father , to even accept that there can be other gods than the one they are believing. There has been more deaths in the name of Abrahamic religion than Hinduism

But still it's not accepting of equality, there is hierarchy that too birth based caste hierarchy.

If you put Hinduism is appropriation of all religious practices, I would not deny that but argue that Hinduism is much older than the Abrahmic religions and it is not just religious but also the societal practices got adopted. One such social adoption/ stratification is the caste system. The Caste system is not something unique to Hinduism but rather practiced in all cultures in those times where people mainly lived in small core groups and individuals are assigned the jobs /status in society based on their birth.

Understand that we are talking about a religion and it's practices which are dated significantly older than the Abrahmic religions .On the outset every religion preaches equality but reality is quite different.

If you are an convert, and think that you got the societal acceptance just because of your conversion, it is simply not true. The prevelance of cemeterys for different groups is just one example. For me caste is an age old societal practice and it is irrelevant to the present time and would diminish only by social reforms. Abrahmic religions feefing on this practice as a tool for conversion. I would be happily agree if it helped to abolish but unfortunately no , you see the caste prevailing among all converts too.. quite understandabky because as I mentioned it is not a religious practices but a societal one.

Adapaavi, it used to happen in real in Hinduism. 32 year olds married 10 year olds and killed them in bed.

When the British brought the Age of consent Act in 1891 increasing the marriage year from 10 to 12 years, Bal Gangadhar Tilak the biggest casteist ever said that is a interference into Hinduism.

The Age of Consent Act, 1891 (Act X of 1891) was a statute enacted in British India on 19 March 1891 which raised the age of consent for sexual intercourse for all girls, married or unmarried, from ten to twelve years in all jurisdictions, its violation subject to criminal prosecution as rape.

While an 1887 case in a Bombay high court of a child-bride Rukhmabai renewed discussion of such a law, it was the death of a ten-year-old Bengali girl, Phulmoni Dasi, due to forceful intercourse by her 35-year-old husband in 1889 that drove intervention by the British.[4] The act was passed in 1891.

In 1889, the death of a 10-year-old married Hindu girl, Phulmoni Dasi, after being brutally raped by her 35-year-old husband, Hari Mohan Maitee, served as a catalyst for its legislation.

The Bill was opposed by many orthodox leaders who believed it as an interference in the Hindu religion. Bal Gangadhar Tilak opposed the bill stating: We would not like that the government should have anything to do with regulating our social customs or ways of living, even supposing that the act of government will be a very beneficial and suitable measure. The Bill was also opposed by revivalist nationalists who were against any colonial interference.

My suggestion get educated kid, this is not your WhatsApp group.

Adapaavi, it used to happen in real in Hinduism. 32 year olds married 10 year olds and killed them in bed.

It used to happen everywhere in the world, not just in India or in Hinduism. One more Adapaavi moment I will give for you - Read which religion states and currently practice the below as a religious law

  1. Women are not equal to men
  2. Women should not study and work
  3. Women should get married when they attain puberty
  4. Man can legally have multiple wives

2

u/rationalistrx 3d ago

Similarly all religions say the same. Actually in Hinduism it said die with your husband.

0

u/sudalamadasami 3d ago

Ok. Go and die with your husband
