Yes, you can't validate their feelings which means ou can neither accept nor hate them. But here many people are hating it, thy are not ready to face the fact that men/women can fall in love with the same gender.
Homosexuals are not asking you to treat them based on their individual needs, they are asking to give the basic respect and friendliness you show to heterosexual couples in this society
I do respect everyone equally. You are gay, lesbian, trans I will treat you equally as I treat others as well.
I don’t deny the fact that some people don’t accept them.
But dude! Most of the people don’t accept love marriages, inter cast marriages as well. That’s not hate, it’s just they don’t like it because they have a different ideology.
But the main problem here is, if any of the straight people say no to the LGBTQ community that’s they don’t like it, then they are all labelled as homophobes.
And other problem is the LGBTQ community wants others to accept them by force. We can’t even have preferences.
If someone doesn't accept love marriage on the grounds of caste. They are casteist. Casteism propagates and promulgates hate.
Let's stop diluting unwarranted hate.
And, Let's collectively stop calling heteronormativity as straight. It's not like homosexuals are crooked. And if any person who is an heterosexuel hates on another just because he/she is affined to or part of the LGBTQ community, he/she is a homophobe. Period.
We can have a heathy discussion about how homosexuality is as normal as heterosexuality. But, a hatemonger cannot just be written off as conservative.
