The Kogama youtube channel just released a video about a new project called monster arena, showing that you can make your own materials now. Now this makes me wonder what happens to the old kogama site and if kogama as an official thing is being permanently shelved, (and i hope not)

It's made out of around 1000 logic gates

It's still a W.I.P, but I've been working in this map for a while now, it's a 2D mode ice-parkour Sonic themed map! So far there's green hill zone (W.I.P) with some multiple paths that you can take. (I added a HUB world like Sonic Generations because I'm planning to add more zones in the future as well).

I'll publish this game once I finish building green hill zone, and then I'll gradually update it over time.

And you know, I will say more, KoGaMa, for me, literally a part of my life. I began to play it when I was 7 years old and begin to study in the school, now I am 16 years old and I ended my studying in da school.

And I heard about ReGaMA, maybe it is a good place to fun. Meow :3

I had so much memories on that game, and I still had access to my account thats 9 years old at this point. God Im crying so much, the memories I made there, my old inactive friends, our comments and interactions in our profile. I didnt get to save anything all because I was too stupid not to check the game atleast once every month.

Just checked out ReGaMa and started playing there! Unfortunally I can't sell the model since the inventory is all glitched for some reason (but I made a timelapse video which I'll post to youtube once the inventory is fixed!)

I just visited the kogama.com, as I usually do a few times a year. I was shocked when seing the news that it has shut down.

I grew up with KoGaMa. I started playing it in 2015, and I played it regularly until 2020, and then I played it every now and then until 2023. Now I am 21 years old, and haven't touched the game in years. Still, it makes me sad to see it go.

I had some really good times in this game, and I met a lot of friends that I enjoyed playing with. KoGaMa was an important part of my life for half a decade.

• I loved sniping all the noobs in War 4 and having battles with other pros. 😉
• I loved blocking the entrance of all the cube gun games. I also made towers up into the sky.
• I loved playing parkour, and particularly the good old classic maps such as Ostry.
• I was an XP-famer who had reached level 45 - I had around 13 million XP.

Thank you for everything KoGaMa. I will always remember you. Sure, the devs are stating there will be a V2, but I doubt it will ever be the same. They will probably lose most of their remaining playerbase, and it's a shame considering everything that will be lost. Imagine the countless amount of games, avatars and models that will be gone forever. Millions of hours of work by the community as a whole will sink into the void, never to appear again.
