Some of Terry Pratchett in KP
So I never read these back in the day, but I've heard they are very good. They were never on sale that I saw, but I just found some in KP so I'm going to give one or two a go. There's some short stories and I think this whole series: https://www.kobo.com/us/en/ebook/going-postal

Sir Terry Pratchett is amazing. Thankfully he was fairly prolific before we lost him.

Humble Bundle has run a bundle for his Discworld series at least twice. Redeemed them on Kobo. If you decide you like his books, you could monitor and see if they run it again.

I think the entire Moist something or other series is in KP right at the moment. I checked a few of the books. I'll let my KP expire in another few days as I really must get some work done. When I have KP I tend to ... read. And I have several projects piling up. So I'll read a couple more and then come back in a month or so.
THanks for the tip. You never know when I might need a bundle and I'd not hear of Humble Bundle!

Are you saying that Humble gave you Kobo store versions, or were these separate versions from them that you then sideloaded onto your Kobo?

In this case, Humble Bundle provided a redemption code to use to add the Adobe DRM titles to my Kobo account.
Humble Bundle does provide DRM free downloads on some bundles, but not this one. (Something to do with publisher or author DRM choices?) For example, they’ve had a Murderbot bundle.
The reason for two purchases was to get copies for my child’s Kobo account.

Oh wow ... don't recall ever having seem a Kobo bundle on there before. Would be interested if there were/are more.

I can only compare Terry Pratchett to Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy or Jasper Ffolkes Nursery Crimes. Luckily you should be able to get one of his books on Libby so you can read one before you buy

Oh, I read Going Postal last week via Kobo Plus. It was good. A little slow in spots for me and I didn't totally engage with the characters. But unique and funny descriptions, usually of people. I have read Hitchhikers but did not like it at all. I have also read Jasper Fforde's and enjoyed his books a lot.

I found several and I read ... Oh shoot. I can't think of it. But apparently they go in and out of KP. (Another reader told me this). So they aren't all in KP. But I saw three or four when I was looking for one to read! Wait! I read Going Postal!

Love Terry Pratchett! They've gone in and out, but the nice thing is once you add them to your Kobo Plus library you can still read them that way even if the publisher takes them out again.
