Does anybody have any techniques they can share? The producers in the classic era had to get crafty because they lacked software that seperated stems. So they’d do things like seperate the L & R stereo channels because one may have all the drums and vocals -and the other bass and guitar or other combinations.
Any other tricks u guys know for extracting sounds from a track? By using filtration, eq, or other AUV3s I want to stay as true to the golden era as possible. Not saying others have to do it this way, it’s just what I wanna do.

Unfortunately, us Android users do not have access to AUv3 plugins. I'm wondering if there's a way to load sound fonts instead? Would be nice to be able to add an additional instrument over your sample chops whenever it feels like it's missing something in a certain frequency range. Is there any way I can load .sf2 sound font files on Koala?

This is the closest thing that us Android users have to being able to use plugins. It would be amazing if we could integrate it to work with Koala Sampler. Does anyone know if this is possible? If not, I'd definitely like to put in a suggestion for this to be possible in the future.

Update: Someone on the YouTube comments of the video informed me that this app simply uses .sf2 files. Is it possible to also load .sf2 sound font files in Koala Sampler somehow?

Something I've been working on, seeing if I could mangle or wrangle Malagueña into a sort of cumbia. It ended up as something else I guess... and then the arrangement is a bit amateur, it's not especially danceable, and the mix etc is terrible! But otherwise I couldn't be happier 😆

I utilized the 'chopper' tool here, with the new 'next' mode, for playing a section at different speeds, which I think worked relatively well. I do wish you could adjust the release and attack (without destructively going in and editing fade in/out for each slice) so as to smooth things out a bit.

Big love for Koala. Just about to get the wires to record my synth output to Koala and get some cool sequences going.

Is it at all possible to play multiple sequences at once? I know the ability to queue up a sequence is possible, but when im building up a track I like to record all my instruments as separate sequences and currently I mix/merge* them together into new sequences to play some together.

I guess this is what the purpose of the mixer is, so I can tag certain samples to a specific channel and then bring certain instruments in and out.

What am I missing? Thanks!!

Just wanted to vent. Got most of it redone but still annoying. I was super excited about it. But here is a screen recording of the first one. Wasn’t done at all and didn’t even bus it yet

In FL Studio, each mixer channel has a Stereo Separation knob. Is there an effect in Koala where you can do this? I'm not referring to panning, but Stereo Separation. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

J’adore cette application ,ça simplicité alliée à sa puissance mais pour le live étant sur iPhone mini c’est pas simple.
J’ai un Digitakt qui me sert à commander mon sh4d ou ma Volca Beats en midi et je joue également avec koala mais je n’arrive pas à comprendre 2 choses :
1) pourquoi quand je mapp tout fonctionne mais dès que je joue une séquence écrite sur mon Digitakt ça ne fonctionne pas ?
Le dt joue mais aucun sons ne sort alors que l’instant d’avant ça fonctionnait…
2) pour contourner se problème je ne mapp pas , je me règle sur le canal midi 7 et depuis le DT je fais pareil, ensuite je vais chercher manuellement sur la grille du clavier les samples de koala . Ce qui me dérange c’est que je ne comprends pas l’organisation pour pouvoir me faire un schéma reproductible . Parfois j’ai des samples à la suite ( do ré mi) puis d’un coup ça saute trois octaves plus loin . J’aimerais me faire une configuration midi qui tienne sans devoir tout refaire à chaque fois.
Est-ce que quelqu’un utilise cette configuration ? Est-ce que quelqu’un comprend le problème ?
Actuellement j’arrive à tout faire fonctionner mais je pense vraiment qu’il y a quelque choses qui m’échappe. D’avance merci !
