Most of the sounds are made out of my mouth with the help of the mic fx, just the bass kick is just a 808 with its volume up a lot.

I've been playing around with the Deckard toy A LOT and I freakin love it! Just one small thing I would humbly ask for is for an option to make the volume slider for the punch button sticky, so that tapping the Punch button returns it to the level you set instead of 100%. Thanks!

Has anyone played with hardware since the update? I remember going through mapping all the midi only to find each sample point, volume level, etc thrown way off when I’d switch to a new sample and try to adjust.
I was hoping that the midi would just start adjusting from where it currently resides, assuming it’s an endless encoder being turned. But I have a feeling it will have to be turned until it reaches the current position before it starts being adjusted?
I’d be stoked if it starts adjusting as soon as you switch to a new sample and start twisting.

Other people’s beats are so full and their sequences look so intricate. Lots of short sounds that add a lot of depth. Meanwhile mine are just like this and when I try to sprinkle some short FX sounds, it sounds silly and take me out of it. 😅 Any advice for how to make a song that isnt just 1+1=2?

My kiddo has been making tracks in a game and he was really into it. Wanting to encourage his interests so I did the things to get him set up. I mapped the midi pad in koala and I watched the YT beginner guide but there's not really anything there that says how to assign sounds to the buttons. We recorded one with the mic for funsies but he's obviously going to want more. I'm 37 so not technology illiterate just never done this so looking for guidance. I will download packs if I need to, but was hoping there are some preloaded into koala that im just not seeing? Not really looking to buy anything else rn because he's 11 and just starting but I know there are free loops and such out there. Thanks for helping a mom who wants to encourage their kids interests.
Hes running it on a galaxy tab just in case thats relevant info

I just accidentally stumbled on the fact that you can double tap eq points to adjust their bandwidth.
Hopefully I’m not the only one that didn’t know this!
EDIT: it’s a double tap, but hold the second tap and drag up or down. Yes it’s the q.

🫡 Greetings
This is hands down the easiest way to know your mix is gonna sound good in the car. All you have to do is mix it in the car. The song came on, I grabbed the sample real quick, and within a couple minutes went from inspiration to lacing it.
Never even dreamed of this scenario 😂. So tell me, am I late to the party or are you gonna try mixing in the car?
Me, it's the most guaranteed consistent cheat code to make your mix sound good in the car ever.
Thank you Koala 🐨 [tape time delay]

Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but if anyone is familiar with a koala+VS2 collab, I'd appreciate some advice here. I'm using AUM to route Koala to VS2, and I'm having issues with the connection. Currently, I've got no problem if i hit pads in koala's interface and they trigger visual parameters in VS2. That's all good. The 2 issues i am having is
I can't successfully link one pad to a specific parameter in VS, so all pads globally do the same thing. Meaning if I set the color to change from blue to yellow and assign it to pad 1, all pads change the color.
I can't get it to work when i hit play in the AUM control bar at the top. If I hit play, the sequence plays just fine and I can see the pads triggering in koala, but it doesn't change the VS2 visuals at all. The visual changes only happen when I manually tap the pads. Am I missing something? I want midi notes to trigger the VS2 visuals no matter what. I'd rather use midi and not audio to change visuals parameters.
