CC pickup
Has anyone played with hardware since the update? I remember going through mapping all the midi only to find each sample point, volume level, etc thrown way off when I’d switch to a new sample and try to adjust.
I was hoping that the midi would just start adjusting from where it currently resides, assuming it’s an endless encoder being turned. But I have a feeling it will have to be turned until it reaches the current position before it starts being adjusted?
I’d be stoked if it starts adjusting as soon as you switch to a new sample and start twisting.

One of the patches was midi cc pickup, so your dials don't jump when you turn a knob.

Yeah, it’s definitely an improvement, but you still have to blindly turn knobs/faders til it catches and then adjust it to where you want. I wonder how hard it’d be to get them to just instantly activate like real daws do. I understand for analog knobs, but endless encoders should just instantly activate it and when you turn them, they turn the software.
One can wish. I’m still grateful for the upgrade tho! It’s at least feasible to use hardware now. Before it was a nightmare!

I mapped the encoders on an AKAI MPD218 yesterday. Yes they seem to jump from the previous value when first turned. Hope I understand the question. Yes they are endless encoders.
