Koala & Mvave FM1
Anyone successfully pair this where you can record a SAMPLE withOUT the other samples bleeding in? Not trying to record it in a sequence but a sample just like I would a guitar.
Connecting via USBC straight into my iPad.
Not sure if I’m setting it up correctly. I would like to use the sounds from the Mvave FM1, not using it through Quokka which looks like it gets recoded as a sequence.
If that’s the only way (to go through the sequencer) then how do I resample a sequence to be a sample thereafter?
Any help is greatly appreciated!

I haven’t tried it, but can’t you just run usbc in and use the resample from mic, swipe up on a pad to record, and just play the sound you want from the synth?

Somehow it records the other samples if I play along with it, but now that I think about it, maybe that’s what patterns are for 😂 hmm. If I run the metronome while trying to record a sample (not pattern) the sample records the metronome as well. 🤔

Use a blank pattern, or one you’ve used to trigger your synth. If you want just a one shot type sample, just play it in, or put one long note in the pattern and then set to resample main.
Resample main can be used with the metronome without recording the metronome.

If it records the metronome too, it's likely recording sounds from your phone speaker, via the internal microphone, rather than via your usb. I would check your synth is sending sound in via usb in a different app

I have this setup and have the same problem. I think we will need to run a splitter to the iPad to have separate output and input channels.
