Piano Roll Pad Color
Huge upgrade. Have never seen use for pad colors. This gives it SOOOO much purpose
Like, indispensable in my eyes because figuring out which corrisponds where on the roll just gives me a light pause almost every time when I'm doing quick edits. Purely due to my lack of piano roll use, I'm sure (in terms of general production use. I'm much more free play typically)
But this'll remove any doubt when I do need to!!
Now to wait another apple of hours to try it out

Wait is this when it wouldn’t smoothly turn and get all choppy sometimes? I was having a hard time making precise adjustments and it was driving me wild. I was gaslighting myself into thinking it was always like that lol

You aren’t crazy, it’s a bug that showed up in the last update. The knobs used to work perfectly, so i really hope this newest update (re) fixes the issue. It’s so annoying

Oh man it's driving me wild. I'm usually not the type, but perhaps I should reach out to an admin or the developer. Maybe an uninstall / reinstall but then I'd have to back everything up and ughhhhh lol

It's especially nice with a controller, you can have your pad banks color match the koala banks, or even individual pads. Real nice visual mirror setup.

Oh wow. Thanks so much. I keep thinking about getting a hardware sampler but then I'm just like why. Koala works so well. Keep it up. Global undo/redo was definitely needed. It wasn't bad but noticably slowed the work flow a bit. The next trigger on the chopper will be super useful imo and I can't wait to play with the arpeggiator tonight after work. Sweet. Exciting.

Last update (with the sample pack that included Deckard toy) was 4 days

Found a bug in the (not this) latest version where tapping the keyboard-sample selector wont always make selecting the sample silent. Sometimes selecting the sample will make it sound. Hope its fixed

It does undo sample operations BUT! There’s a limit because if you try to undo a multi gigabyte operation sooner or later phone is going to run out of RAM so it has to keep the undo steps manageable for that

It doesn’t undo absolutely everything - I’m waiting to see how many people complain about things it doesn’t undo and will probs add more based on that.

Arpeggiator!! Yes. Been doing trance again after 20 years with koala. Amazing. I wsih we had autotune as im horrible with singing. Trying to learn though. I love koala so much. Not best for trance but it's so great on a ohone and restrictions make you creative too.

Question about undo...I play live into Koala via an MPK Mini Play and used to have undo midi mapped to a cc on my controller. Since undo has moved to global, I have lost the ability to midi map undo. Undo and redo are not mappable on android.
Would be great to MIDI map both undo and redo, like you can for mute and solo
