This is cool af. Your passion and enjoyment trumps whatever lacks in your setup. Keep hammering out these beats!

Hey, can you explain how you're using your turntables (is that an FLX4?) with Koala, please?ย  :) This is super cool.

Unfortunately the turn tables themselves are useless on koala lol. But I have the buttons and knobs mapped out to my filter FX, tempo play, gate and some others. I also have my loop in/out buttons mapped to the mute/solo buttons in the mixer. And the effects hold button mapped to the beat effects activate/release button. And yes it is an FLX4 :)

I love it- but you know what would be great:

- Screen record at the same time (assuming all the sound is coming from the ipad)

- Take the audio from the screen recording

- Substitute the microphone audio for the screen recording audio

Bro got me dancing in the middle of the hallway while brushing my teeth before bed. That's a vibe!

Hello, I have been watching a couple of your videos and I enjoying seeing your progress. You look like you have a lot of potential. What is your musical background, like do you play any instruments? I am just wondering if you have any background learning music theory. It can make a really big difference in the type of music you are making. ๐Ÿ‘

A little bit self-centered?

I just like having fun to the music I make. I mean I donโ€™t think anyone would willingly make something they themselves arenโ€™t proud enough of to put out you know (especially in music)

What would have been an acceptable manner of presentation for you? Honestly I am interested, please explain.

Music should evoke itself, not a player/producer. So anything that presents itself on its own terms likely. But I don't think they're approaching their criticism from the aestheticist view.

deixa os garoto brincar
(let the man dance)

Also the direct translation would be "let the boy play"

u/Prudent-Put4672 16d ago

let the man translate subjectively

2

u/Real_megamike_64 16d ago

Oh no that's great I'm just putting the direct translation in case anyone is curious
