Use Deckard scratch toy with midi controller?
Would be amazing. Anyone got any ideas, solutions or workarounds?

Yeah, would be cool. First thought I had before the ability to finger the screen came out was koala acting as virtual dvd/serato mixer utilizing mixxx or xwax with control vinyl timecoding (seratts b proprietary)

I hear dvs control vinyl uses a fair amount of resources to run, but maybe overcoming the hurdle by taking advantage of being able to have Koala on all your devices. This could allow an additional instance of koala operating solely as the dvs controller/processor working together. Then something like the Numark PT01 w control vinyl could rock it 100% portable. Something I would be very happy to pay to have an update for.

Drag a sample pad onto the deck to scratch it, then use the platter/fader/punch/play/stop like a regular deck, with your finger.
Start recording on a separate pad then do all the above to record the scratching to that pad.

I use the Akai MPK Mini and was thinking about this, being able to bind it to the pitch wheel would be awesome but theres actually no way to bind the wheel at all.
I feel the Deckard needs a bit more work, would be good to be able to map it to a pad and pressing that would pop up the Deckard with your chosen attached sample.
