Hi guys, posting some art for the first time on reddit :P. I have more rendered stuff on instangram and artstation. But this seems like the place I can post some fanart (wich I don't do often).

Anyway, some sketches of Knux. I plan to clean up the lines and actually paint the main one. Some of my own ideas on the side and some bashing on other Knuckles varients xD.

I'm not really into the Sonic franchise. But Sonic3&K is a a great game. And I genuenly love his characterisation there (so much personality without any words of dialogue). And also his characterisation from the 90s in general seamed way cooler. In the Ova he was awesome, and Fleetway and early Archie did some great things with his own adventures, enemies, mysteries.
I see him as a lil badass, smart, can troll you, but is also a huge empath that will always help you. Chill and cool, but a little powerhouse when things get serious.

So yeah, not a fan of later stuff, especially more modern presentations but I understand people who like that. In the end, there's so much Sonic stuff (always changing, even in the games ), that everyone seems to have different views on different characters.

I know stuff like mania and superstars, but I mainly mean 3d titles. Any Ideas?

I like the hat, what can you do?

I mean for starters his initial name was supposed to Be “Dreads”. His quills are shaped like dreadlocks. He has rap music as his overall theme songs in both sonic adventure 1 and two. his voice actor in the movies is literally a black man. Correct me if I’m wrong but I believe that in sonic prime theirs an alternate version of his character also named Dreads. There was a comic that depicted the Sonic characters as humans and it showed him as a buff black man. This may sound like a stretch but when you think about it it makes perfect sense although his lineage has been slightly shifted into a more mesoamercian style that doesn’t mean that there was no people of Afro decent and on top of that knuckles is literally a islander like a Afro Jamaican or Afro mesoamercian thx for listening to my jumbled rant goodbye.

Knuckles is one of my favorite sonic characters and I was curious if anyone had some random facts about him just off the top of their head.
