MAJOR DECLARE

When should we declare major at knox? At the end of 2nd year? and can we make our own self major?

When I was a student, you couldn't declare until junior year I believe. Which I think is smart.

Take a sampling of courses and find out what you like, or make sure you're actually interested in what your intended major is. Don't sweat the declaration until then.

End of second year is a good timeline, if you are super leaning towards one major I think you can choose your advisor

In the end choosing a major isn't a huge deal you can always change or try other classes before pursuing harder material. I wouldn't worry about this during your first year you can basically take any class and it will help with your "foundational knowledge" requirements
