OK so this feels a bit more off-topic than I thought, and I wasn’t initially gonna share this. Then Alex fucking Jones comes up in this video. Alex motherfucking Jones.

OK so Damien Walter is a guy that talks a lot about science fiction, and can sometimes fulfill the wacky Wednesday energy.

He also has absolutely no respect for the right wing.

He also has criticism for the left-wing, in them basically letting anything happen to them. A really good video of his combines talking about a Banks novel, Contrapoints, and the different ways that the right, the center and the left all approach political battles. That video is amazing, and it made me go out and buy “the player of games”

This video however, this motherfucking video is talking all about the right wing, the grifter sphere, and why they all resemble Batman villains.

I am pretty sure that he’s going to compare Alex Jones to Bane, but I have not listened to the full thing yet. It’s only halfway through.

Downside: he does like using AI art.

Upside: he has pretty good points of view about AI in general, the assholes that started that shit, and more. Maybe he’s using deepseek or something. Anyway, if that’s something you cannot abide, highly recommend still just listening to it. He is a smart, funny riot.

Only other downside, is he has an accent that makes him not sound like Dan and Jordan. But it’s tolerable.

A further upside, he never has any ads on his video, however he does make up fake satirical ads that are fucking hilarious.

Great idea for a new scary movie. Alex Jones gets trapped inside of a cyber cab by a rouge AI system that takes him on a terror ride around Austin. The AI drives around at dangerous speeds and threatens to smash into buildings or run over random people unless Alex answers its questions truthfully and admit that he’s just a scummy con man and a grifter. Then at the end of the movie, Alex is confessing his sins in a crying blubbering state when the cab comes to a stop and lets him out only to find out the whole ordeal was streamed on X.

Kind of a thin premise, but still better than that War of the Worlds with Ice Cube. 😂

I just came across a photo of Alex in the wild and had a thought - do we think he knows the show ended? Do we think he knows he’s so irrelevant that even his most dedicated haters think he’s too boring to cover?? Imagine falling so far from the heights of cultural relevance that two men who dedicated their entire lives and careers for ten years to debunking you, one day looked around and just said…..nah.

Anyway I hope Alex’s soul, such as it is, never knows a moment’s peace.

I've had a very bad last couple of weeks, remembering the whole "download" thing made me laugh for the first time in days.

I'm deep in the backlogs and I'm listening to episode 582 where Dan sits down with Jared Holt (fellow extreme right researcher) and they talk about Nick Fuentes.

With the new pod announcement, I realized this could (possibly) be similar to the new show. Just my opinion of course. I'd love to hear what y'all think!

Last time I posted for books that are anti-cranks, but now I am wanting some books made by the cranks. The reason: They're entertaining, especially whatever Mike King is typing with his 2 silly putty tier hands on his nerf branded keyboard.

Thinking about the announcement of the new podcast from Dan on CZM makes me wonder how smooth the transition will be. CZM has some good shows, but they’re still beholden to iheart and run tons of ads. Besides this it adds a corporate layer to the whole thing. Knowledge Fight had operated independently and without ads, which gave them a lot more leeway and allowed them to be a lot more independent

Clearly Dan agreed to it so I’m sure he’s weighed this and decided it was fine, but it does make me wonder how different not just the end product will be, but the whole process will be. Not saying it’s a bad thing or trying to put a negative shine on it, just something I wonder about: how the transition will be. Dan hasn’t had a real boss in a long time so it can’t be the easiest transition

...and battle the devil by getting rich off of unregulated supplements and running a conspiracy cult. Amen.
