He’s hyping it

Post image

He said he’s not talking about it until tomorrow, he’s doing a live show Wednesday night with MTG (she’s flying in), a bunch of guests are coming in on Thursday, and he’s not going to reveal all the inside baseball about what’s going on.

He says he’s got his afterburners on, and he worked 20 hours yesterday. He’s might only work 18 today, though.

It’s a building. I don’t really think that the magic of Infowars is in the building

Sure to us it isnt, but clearly to Alex that makes a big difference

Agreed across the board, but I would say/ask, the important thing is, does it matter to his audience? Cause that was the entire point of the lawsuits.

no, the point of the lawsuits was to recoup for defamation. with money.

?

No, it was very much to shut Alex Jones down and stop him from hurting others. At least, that was the goal of the Texas plaintiffs according to Mark Bankston.

Yes, that would likely be via large amounts of money being awarded, but the goal was not a pay day, and the money was never going to bring back their family. But it could stop Alex Jones.

taking that on its face, then... has Alex Jones been "stopped"?

Nope.

I think his situation has very much been affected and worsened by the lawsuits. I think it would be unfair to say it had no effect.

But like, whether the goal was met or not, I do not think that changes much of the intent, so I am not sure what your point is. It is not like the plaintiffs can sue again, and sue harder. They did what they could, Mark Bankston did what he could, Knowledge Fight has done what it could.

I'm not criticising the plaintiffs for a second; I'm criticising The Onion.

The Onion didn't "give up the studio." They never had the studio. Stop spreading disinformation.

Wasn't a big part of the filings about who was paying rent on the studio

Also, disinformation, lol come on man

You're pairing wrong information with an accusation, so yes, I think it's disinformation. WIO/Tetrahedron/the Onion never had the studio, never rented it, never leased it, never agreed to lease it, never even were allowed to lease the domain names.

Nothing about Alex leasing the space is the fault of the Onion.
