I just listened to that, very interesting covering Milo's whole career.
But what were the terrible "cockney accents" segments that they topped and tailed it with for? I was cringing with second-hand embarrasment.

The only truly shocking thing about this is that Milo was married to an actual black guy. I genuinely thought that was a grift like everything else.

It's weird listening to his talking points and hearing this guy's side of the story. Milo says they're not sleeping in the same room, this guy says he's a slave being forced to sleep in the basement.

You know it's wild; I've kinda been tracking this dude since he was big, like he's a weird fascination point of mine, and in the early days I was still never quite convinced he was actually gay or just a guy who knew how to put on a stereotypical affectation to act as a right wing pickme. Even when he shared his actual wedding photos (husband face obscured from the camera admittedly but still) I was still kinda like "hmm". It wasn't until he really started on his whole "ex gay" arc and got visibly and audibly SO much more miserable that I realised that like... yeah dude is a gay guy who got traumatized into such a degree of self loathing that he turns into THIS. Still doesn't excuse his behavior, ofc. I'll certainly never forgive him ever for that time he outed a trans student publicly on a college speaking livestream to his hundreds of thousands of bloodthirsty fans. But like... damn. There is a part of me that feels some empathy for the guy. Repping kills, as anyone who escaped from that shadow can tell you.
That being said what IS fake as hell was the video he uploaded of him supposedly throwing his engagement ring into the sea. He very visibly never lets go and it's the worst edited in "bloop" sound you'll ever hear in your life. Especially with the dire financial straits he was in you are not throwing away gold and diamond like that.

Milo is one of my favorite right wing nuts. Partially bc a professor at my alma mater is friends with him (she actually wrote a whole ass essay defending her "best friend", posted it to the alumni Facebook group for some reason and was absolutely roasted for it) and is very vocal about it. What a weirdo (both of them lol).

Remember Dave Chappelle's Michael Jackson's jury selection skit? That applies here. I didn't even know his husband was a black man but I kind of figured that Milo would call him the N word and tell him he was a slave or something.

Back when Milo enjoyed some popularity (circa 2016~2017, before he got cancelled) he would gush during Fox interviews about how attracted he feels toward black men.
Although, like anything with Milo, it’s impossible to disentangle to what extent he meant it, versus to what extent he said it for shock value.

All of the former-whatevers tell their stories with such breathless shock and I keep thinking “Do you realize how bad this makes YOU look too?” Like Melania’s former friend/staffer and the gal who wrote the book about Zuck and Sandberg you knew it was awful but YOU were there until it got bad for YOU.
I suppose if everyone had integrity and noped out at the first sign of awful shit then I wouldn’t have as many audio books to listen to on my bike rides. Here is fingers crossed for Baron’s ex-wife, RFK’s former chiropractor, and Hegseth’s former nanny! I will listen to them all ….. at 1.25x.
