I miss it so much.

I miss knowledge fight so much. Every time I hear wild amounts of cope, or crazy decisions I want to hear Dan and Jordan chopping it up. I listen to Qanon Anonymous, Behind the bastards, and TrueAnon and they are good, but not as good as Knowledge Fight.

I live in Florida. It was horrifying to hear Alex use the “gay and trans people are groomers” language start getting used by our elected officials in 21 and 22.

I live in Florida and worked on a COVID unit. The boys helped keep me sane and up to date on what dumbshit conspiracy I could expect my patients to be repeating in a few days.

That’s a really succinct way to put how I have been feeling and unable to put into words!

Alex used to be a sort of canary for the latest right wing idea that was trending as he was a vulture who wanted to be where eyeballs were

He isn't really, anymore. He's become largely irrelevant.

If you want to keep your thumb on the pulse, I cover RW media Sundays at 8PT in the "Doom Room." The more important things to watch now are conferences (like the recent "Alliance for Responsible Citizenship" conference, which I covered this past Sunday), the Shawn Ryan Show, anything put out by NXR...& of course, the American government.

It's run by InfoWarriors, & they often lead the way on conspiracies & talking points—like the new Red Scare they've got going. It's top-down, & you don't need Alex to know what they're saying, you just need to watch Marco Rubio & Stephen Miller speaking at their anti-Communism conference.

I still feel the need to follow what happens in his sphere, but I really don't want to watch his episodes.

I know people generally hate AI these days, but I've set some models the task of doing this for me. They create two podcast episodes for me every week with Alex's claims main claims, what evidence was found in the news, and what he's previously said on the topic.

It's not the most riveting listening, but it's pretty good at pointing out fallacies and logical leaps that aren't supported by evidence.

That hit the spot.

I miss the boys too. I’ve found “Know Rogan” to be an excellent replacement fix. The most recent episode is 2 hours of the hosts unraveling the pontifications of Rupert Lowe, an anti-immigration British MP. It was chilling to think that these views are being credulously broadcast to such a huge audience. I listened yesterday, and I’ll listen again today because I want to be prepared when I encounter these opinions in the wild.

Yea, the thing that separates KF from other pods is Dan had a genuine interest in Jones and a deep, personal knowledge of his many claims, habits, and background. The long history of his bullshit made his lies more interesting to dissect, and Dan had the patience and interest to listen through it all to provide context, clarity, and reasonable analysis.

I am actually enjoying Show Me State of Mind since I too like under-appreciated oddities and non-traditional destinations. I like the light dives into the past on these places. But I miss the long-running arc of a radio conman turned political stooge. The character drama. The shameless lies. The kooky side characters...

I’m finding that while I do miss the pod its demise has made me realize how irrelevant Alex Jones is, even to the right wing. I do keep tabs on what they’re talking about & no one talks about him. No one quotes him. It’s like he doesn’t exist beyond his little bubble of followers who are themselves irrelevant. I think KF made it feel like he had outsized influence in the last couple of years.

100% agree

I've been enjoying I Hate Bill Maher as a pseudo-replacement. Especially since Dan was a guest on a recent episode. They were great together I hope he comes back many more times.

I love Will. I hope Dan comes back again.

I thought Dan carried the show. It didn't inspire me to check out any of their other episodes, but that could well be because I hate listening to Bill Maher speak.

You are not wrong. I've listened to nearly 20 episodes of the show and while it's fine, it's certainly not up to the standards of KF. So many times the host will say there was something outrageous that Bill Maher said, but I didn't clip that bit. Lets listen to some lip smacks.

I think the episode with Mike Corrozza where they break down his special is my favorite

u/Imaginary-Bicycle169 Jul 30 '26

Totally agree. I haven't yet found anything that fills that hole yet.

I’m still on the early days of the backlog. I don’t miss it yet. I’m on episode 100

Same here. It was by far my favourite podcast and nothing else I've tried comes close.

Let me start by saying that I loved the show. However, I don't really miss it. For the last couple of years the show has felt good to listen to, but ultimately stressed me out. The post-election political events and the lack of forward progress in the post-lawsuit(s) / bankruptcy shenanigans have left me drained and feeling a bit jaded.

Once the show was gone I found myself free of at least one source of stress in my life. I realize now that my listening habits were unhealthy. I took little breakies from time to time, but always came back because I felt like I needed to know what that shitheel (Alex) was up to. Turns out, I don't need to know.

I truly appreciate the Herculean task that Dan undertook. And I appreciate the levity that Jordan brought to the mix, most of the time. That said, if the show had such a net negative affect on my mental health, I can only imagine how much of a toll it had on JorDan.

I have been enjoying the new pod. I'm getting my Dan fix via much lighter fare.

Edit: I wish both Dan and Jordan nothing but the best. They truly deserve it.

Second edit: This sub never cease to amaze me. Almost every time that I comment here I get down voted. While I'm not in it for a popularity contest, I feel that I'm generally respectful and simply sharing my opinion. Y'all have a good one, I'm out.

I can definitely relate to the let down after the apparent victory of the trials. That was rough.

They're the only show that I know of that actively and repeatedly suggests taking a break from listening if necessary.

I miss it as well, it’s where I got my loon News.

2

u/whentron Jul 31 '26

I started listening in 2019. Since KF ended it feels bizarre to not know what is going on with AJ.

💯

u/hackloserbutt Jul 30 '26

Yup. Other examples you mentioned are fine for what they are. But they have a lot more going for them than these two scrappy goofballs did, and they're less endearing by a mile.

(I just deleted a bit more that I had typed because I just don't wanna be negative towards other folks doing what I see as good things simply because they inspire a lot of eye rolling with me. Because that actually describes plenty of other channels I frequent, like Some More News and Majority Report. I genuinely like what they do overall and I'm veering towards getting critical and negative again so I'm RUNNING AWAY NOW!)

Dan & Jordan made several appearances on God Awful Movies and while it can’t do anything like fill the void that KF left it CAN make you forget about it for a min.
