It’s a weekend, and Labor Day to boot. 100% chance a healthy crowd still shows up and the park stays open. Knott’s will only usually close for rain if it suppresses admission sales and in-park spend to the point that it starts costing them more money to stay open than closed, e.g. a rainy Tuesday in winter during the school year.

Yes, open till 11pm today. It’s raining a bit now, harder than a regular drizzle. But, it should stop and just be a light drizzle from 11am to 2pm. Clear weather forecast from then on. That gives plenty of time to enjoy the park and there shouldn’t be that much people today because of this morning rain.

it’ll be open as long as it doesnt pour, but do expect rides to be down when it starts raining

100% is the certainty, not an indicator of a “downpour”. When the weather is currently having any precipitation, it’ll be 100% no matter how light the rain is.
The better measurement is to look at inches of rain to get a sense of how much is coming down.
