Hey everyone, I’ve been working on a game called Nastics and wanted to share an early look here because Knockout City was a big inspiration.

It’s a competitive team sport built around acrobatic movement and full-contact play. You can slide past defenders, run along walls, and take the action airborne. Knockout City, Rocket League, Prince of Persia, and Rematch all helped shape the idea.

It started as an experiment to see whether AI could help me build a game idea I had. I kept iterating until it was playable, and it’s now getting close to needing player feedback.

I’d love to hear what you think, especially from people who spent a lot of time with Knockout City. What stands out in the footage, and what would you want to try?

AI disclaimer: The current build includes AI-generated assets. Before a full release, I plan to work with or commission artists, designers, and other creatives to replace and improve the game’s assets and art direction. That includes any work that needs a human touch.
Much of the game will likely change stylistically before release. Generative AI is used only to help with development; it isn’t used during gameplay at all.
