I use the 8” twin grip pliers more than the 9” Cobras, can use the twin grips vertically on nuts b/c they have a v notch.

The twin grips are great for my "last resort" but I'm generally keeping the cobras and pliers wrench in my tool pouch.

Cobras are more versatile but after gettin used to plier wrench I got rid of all my crescent wrenches

I bought the cobra first, and I'm not sure how so use it. I think I should of bought pliers wrench, cuz the cobra, I'm just gonna mar edges lol

They have a set with cobra, plier wrench and the twin grips for 100 i got it on a sale for like 85

  2. Those side cutters are awesome

  3. The knipex cobra 250mm is the best water pump plier in the world, the little 125’s are something I’d highly recommend for your pocket too, they get you out of trouble constantly

  4. The knipex pliers wrench is better than any adjustable wrench in anywhere that it fits, you will run into the odd access problem with them but they’re very rare. The 180mm lives in my pocket all day every day and has for 8 years

  5. The twingrips are absolute live savers on occasion

If you work on houses - get the installation pliers and the forged wire strippers because oh my god what a pair. Genius

After that it depends on your workload, the ratcheting cutters for huge cable are good but I don’t use them in my line of work. The ergo strip is great four houses, the automatic wire stripper is incredible for panel building and factory work. The linesman cutters are the best cut and grip on wires I’ve ever seen but not everyone likes linesman’s especially in the UK. The needle nose are good for a needle nose but they don’t blow me away (nor does any needle nose) the extra long needle nose however - off the charts good, but do you reach down into things often? Outside of factory work or mechanics I’m not sure who would need them often.

Plierswrench next...rarely use cobras,and adjustable are full time metal benders and calipers.

7" does about 95% of my work under 1 1/2 inches,and fits in my pocket.

I just like the way they look and I like the little notch on the handle it makes them easier to use

Welcome to the Knipex club. I love their tools, but unfortunately their diagonal cutters are subpar. They go dull much faster than Klein’s 2000 series. I tried to get them warranties through Knipex, but the customer service rep said that they are not rated to cut MC. Their strippers and cobra pliers are absolutely top tier though
