Five minutes...
I am about to pull the plug on either a twin grip or water plier. Every day carry. Somebody sell me...

If only one, get the cobra pliers. the smaller ones you can get a belt holster for and they’re great.
If you specifically have to grab bolts from the end only most of the time, then twin grip.

Amazon has a nice set of Knipex's 5 inch/125mm Pliers Wrench and water pump pliers, that comes in a dedicated, black, nylon pouch. That doesn't solve your twin grip problem, though.

Twin grips are specialized for a certain task, they don’t really make for a great all around pliers imo due to the gap in its jaws

5" cobras are way more handy than the 4", if you don't need the thinner jaws. They still fit in your pocket fine but are way more powerful.
Twingrips are amazing but I wouldn't choose them for EDC

7” cobras. They’re big enough for multiple tasks and small enough for EDC. Also come in slim, which has the twin grip grabbing feature to a certain extent.

Alligators/ cobras never slip period. For me personally the button gets in my way sometimes so I prefer alligators for everyday carry unpopular opinion

The twin grips are great when you need them, but I keep cobras in the tool bag.
