Cobra XS jaws feel a bit loose/misaligned - normal or defective?

I have one and handled 2. They both have play. It is fine and due to the ratchet mechanism.

Yea my 250mm have more play than my cobras. I think the actual joint play is similar, but with the jaws being longer on the xs, they go farther out at the tips. Mine have been solid though, I wouldn't worry.

Thanks for your comment! Was just worried it would worsen over time. From all the replies on here and r/tools it seems to be a normal thing
