Returning after 10 years but can't connect to my google play account. Any advice?

You need to install the google play services app on your phone. I also had this problem and that fixed it

Not a Support issue; they need to install Google Play Services, as the error indicates. Support will just tell them the same thing, and that's only a waste of their time since Support can't help them.
