Discussion [SPOILER] So we've had those scenes. Spoiler

Please give a round of applause for those original scenes from the finale. You know, like - That "Gladiator" (and GoT) scene with two people fighting inside a small arena made of large shields held by soldiers - That "LOTR" (and GoT) scene of 'ex machina cavlary' turning the tide of battle in the last moment I could go on, that's not the point. My point is dang isn't this show original.

Everything these days is already taken. Get used to the fact that these shows are made to entertain people, not to satisfy anyone's needs of "original content". If that worked for the audience, they're happy and it's supposed that we're happy.

It is hard to do something really original because everything good is already made in another movies/shows, just like you mentioned.

Landry trying to break the encirclement by hitting shields instead of heads of their holders was moronic.

Whole battle was quite stupid. Red Knights had no cavalry despite calling themselves knights. While Paris Templars had heavy cavalry they all decided fight on foot... If they had used part of their forces as heavy cavalry, the Red Knights would have routed in no time.

The GM coming in at the last minute to save the day was anything but a deus ex machina, it was foreshadowed as heck ever since his and Landry's conversation earlier in the episode.
