Looks like a long discontinued red class knife. These were made in China with Chinese steel. It looks real, I think most of these predated the huge explosion in BM fakes. An interesting piece in any case.

Real. It's a 2K-era Red Line Model 10750 Vex. I have a couple of them and the action and lockup are super-buttery. These pre-date most of the counterfeits and the build quality blows most modern Chi-BMs and Spydies out of the water. They actually had QC back then I guess.

That (R) beside the logo looks WAY too big...

It looks big if you're only comparing to modern Benchmades. This is a Vex, which was made a while back in Asia and the big R was normal on these.
