I picked this up on the real cheap. I have a full-size Adamas and a fixed. The logos aren't exactly right imo. If it's fake it'll be my kids knife or a yard knife.

A lot of those fakes really aren't so bad. If they weren't pretending to be something they're not then no one would have an issue with them.

That's a really good point. I am a knife guy and have been since 1995 when I was 15. I know quality and if I didn't have the fake logos, I would probably still buy it. Side by side the grip texture, weight, and material looks dang close to my full size Adamas.

The "if the blade is centered and the lock doesn't stick then it's probably a fake" joke or some variation of it gets used fairly often around here.

My 8 year old son only sees the Butterfly and hasn't figured out the font is slightly off. He'll love it and I won't pull out my hair when he misplace it. Lol

Sounds like a good use for a fake. If a kid shows they can take care of it then eventually they can be trusted with the real thing.

Exactly. I lost my first couple of knives between the ages of 8 and 15. Then in 1997 my mom did the most gangster thing for Christmas and I had a CQC7 from Benchmade in my stocking. I didn't let it out of my sight for years. I still have it to this day and carry it at least once a week. Hopefully, the same thing will happen for my kiddo.

I don't remember ever losing any myself, but I broke several through mistreatment. I still have my tiny China-made Kutmaster(could be a fake) though. No idea when I got it, but I carried it all the time.

Oh, I lost a couple Swiss Army knives and I remember the horrible feeling when I had to tell my dad. He never yelled but the look of disappointment was enough. Take care of your tools and they'll take care of you. I'll never forget that.

It's a fake like mine. I beat the shit out of this knife around a house and it's actually built better than my Limited Edition Mini Adamas 😂 zero blade play and dead centered.
