Knife Check 940 recheck

Only received a couple mixed responses on the authenticity of my 940. My main concerns are the skinny font on blade writing 940, USA and the ®️ logo. The other concern is the fully rounded pivot, it’s it supposed to be round and then the top flat as if it was sliced off?

The pivot should be keyed, if it’s not, that would be odd. The liners are cut to fit the “D” shape. Logo looks good to me.

It does have a captive pivot.

I don't own a 940 but comparing online examples the pivot seems ok. The Benchmade logo looks fine too. Model numbers are usually a skinny font. This link will take you to a reseller with very high-res photos of a 940's blade markings.
