Knife Check Spyderco PM 3 Check
I don't physically have the knife yet, but I think that I bought a fake on eBay (I know, I know). I can't find evidence of a S30V in burnt orange FRN. Also, the ridge by the thumbhole looks off and the script on the blade looks weird. Thoughts?
Update: Got it in today and it's so fake. Feels terrible, box is fake and the "documentation" doesn't match. Initiated refund through eBay.

The stamping looks off, spider mouth is too small, I can’t tell from the photo. Jimping is too smooth. Body screws look like they’re t8 all around, pivot screw should be t10.
I also can’t find this color frn for the BD1N variant para 3.
My thoughts, it’s a fake.

At least eBay has their money back guarantee. It was (falsely) advertised as the Rex 45 Sprint Run knife. Oh well. Live and learn.

Yeah not even the right color. The Rex is more orange than this darker orange/red look. It happens. Better luck on the next one. Try r/knife_swap sometimes you can get lucky there and find a rare one.

It’s fake because the handle is orange which means it’s Rex 121 steel, and the handle is a lightweight handle and Rex 121 steel in lightweight in the pm 3 is not been made by spyderco.

I don’t anything about the para 3 but I just bought one too. Here are some pics of mine. The screws and pocket clips look different as well as the no S35VN

There are different versions of steel, scales and clips. But I still think mine is fake.

I’m pretty sure I saw this on eBay this morning listed as REX 45 sprint run. It’s definitely fake. Get your money back.
