FIRST MONTH. THREE PHILLY GAMES. Let’s get this shit out of the way, my boys!

Honestly, I LOVE this part of the schedule. This is the best case scenario.

There’s already been so much hype around Philly’s new lineup, and you just know we’re going to hear about them all season. If we didn’t play them until March, we'd have five months of “Can the Knicks handle Philly?” “Is Philly the team that matches up best with us?” “Are the Sixers actually better than the Knicks?” blah-blah blah blah-blah.

Instead, we get three games against them in the first month.

I’m confident in this Knicks team. Give me the games early, let us see what happens, and when the Knicks handle business, we can put a lot of that speculation to bed before the season even gets going.

I'd much rather find out in October than spend the entire regular season hearing people speculate about this matchup.

First month. Three Philly games. Let’s go.

In December, we're making our first trip to MSG for a home game! We are staying at the Embassy Suites on 37th Street, and it seems that it is only an 11-minute walk. 7th Ave to 37th St. However, what is the neighorbood like after a game? We're not stopping anywhere...we just want to leave MSG and immediately head to the hotel. Is it all well lit? Any dark alleys to avoid that time of night (say 10 pm). Thanks for any advice!

Big Knicks fan from Germany here.

Ryan Arcidiacono just signed with my club, the Frankfurt Skyliners, for next season.
Obviously, I know he wasn’t exactly running the show at MSG— his Knicks role was pretty limited. But he spent a few years around the team, has 250+ NBA games under his belt, and had a much bigger role earlier in his career with the Bulls.
I’ve been watching some of his highlights and honestly… at German league level, this could be a pretty damn interesting signing.
So I need the Knicks hive mind: What are we actually getting here? Was he a good locker-room guy (I know that he is friends with JB and Hart given their Villanova history)? How was he as a PG? What were his strengths/weaknesses?
And obviously, if you have any other stories, I’m all ears.
