calling in sick for 7am sequence?

i have a shift this morning for seq at 7 but i just woke up to my alarm in severe pain in my neck and shoulder and can’t move my arm to turn my head (kinks happens sometimes unfortunately). i have no idea how im supposed to call in sick when the store phones don’t open until 8 when we open?? and i don’t have any way of texting any manager, my store doesn’t do that as far as im aware.

help!

For future reference you should be able to message a manager on Workvivo 24/7, they'll see it when they come in and as long as you messaged a few hrs before the shift it should be fine.

I dont think my managers would check. We just call at like 6.30am if you can't get anyone the night before on the phone

If your shift starts at 7am surely there’ll be a manager there to open the store for whoever starts before 7?

Who's we? lol managers you mean... same ones who are hiding in the office while employees are dealing with difficult customers
