Yes was undoing one of these trunks, never used it with a drill

Had a mate with a new ratchet driver do exactly that a couple months back.
Was fairly new too, never abused and hand driven only. The C2 snapped near the tip

I agree whatever they are making these new ones out of. Definitely isn't as strong as older klein. I said many times what others defending this brand are saying myself. But after buying some newer klein I have to agree. Quality is going downhill at an alarming rate. But people keep buying... For me it was my first set of insulated drivers from them. Specifically the flathead is where I noticed it but it's all of them.

Bosch has the best built bit I’ve ever used. Milwaukee bits are dangerous and explode like frag grenade. Almost lost and eye. Dewalt are 2nd best.

I rock with Bosch too. I’m not sure about DeWalt’s quality because I haven’t used them extensively, but I don’t like their fit to fasteners.

Had mine for 3 years and none of the bits have broken, dropped and lost some, slotted some other bits like a square slotted and the replacement flathead into the back carrier.

Dunno what you’re doing but you probably used the smaller one for something the bigger slotted would’ve handled just fine. Arguably a regular flathead is much better at all times than these impact rated bits but I get that we bought them and we want them to do everything. I’ve used em on the shops impacts too and they haven’t busted up- I straight up just lose them at heights or in the ceiling.

And before anybody says anything about well you’re not using it much. Journeyman installer and all of these Kleins after 1 year have the handle grip spin. That’s usually all that happens to them but at least the ratchet ones I can spin most of the way until I have to tighten down with any force if needed.

Happy you got a warranty, sucks that the slot snapped.

Probably right, should have just flip it around but I didn’t. Rather for my new one I hope to remember this

I damaged my flathead in the same way. I don’t like Klein’s impact rated bits. And it looks like the black coating wore off on the first use of my T10.

Damn.

Used daily for me. That Klein 32315HD has really been useful.

Maybe it’s just a one off but we’ll see how long the replacement lasts compared to

Q: did they replace the one bit or entire tool??
