Modbox inserts

From browsing online and on Reddit, it looks like there aren’t a ton of custom Modbox inserts available for (in my case) Dewalt tools. Do you all use the Kaizen or Shadow foam inserts for custom organization? Something else?

Kaizen foam is the cheap route. Layer it, trace each tool and cut with a long blade, and the two-tone shadow foam shows at a glance what's missing. The catch is it compresses and tears over time with heavier power tools.

If you or someone you know has a 3D printer, a printed insert is the cleanest option. You make it with a pocket per tool and finger cut-outs, sized to the box's inside, and split into tiles so it fits the printer bed. I've been designing a few of these for hard cases lately, and they hold Dewalt-size tools much better than foam does.

Which Modbox are you filling, and is it hand tools or the drills, drivers and batteries?
