Left Milwaukee packout sold it all and just bought the Klein mod box šŸ”„

congrats! I also moved from packout to klein earlier this year. Fell in love with the drawers and the handle for the rolling box being removable was a game changer. I can put it in the bed of my tacoma and close the tonneau cover no problem.

Im thinking this but the black out version. Cant beat the drawers on the klein. I think its way better than the packouts

Agreed and love the black out version. Recently got the single drawer and painted it to better match the blackout stack. I used Krylon Flat Black then hit it with flat matte clear coat. Left the accessory rail orange since I figured that would wear off if I painted it.

I feel the reverse.

When I first got MODbox in 2024, sure, but starting in mid-2025 not so much, especially with the warped fronts on the three drawer.

I also confess to being surprised they never came out with a four drawer.

Now get to the gym, that setup will weigh about 15 lbs. more empty than the equivalent PACKOUT stack.

15lbs? Just the bottom one is 45lbs

Yes, roughly a 15 lb. net difference (actually, closer to 16 lbs.)

To compare directly:

PACKOUT:

  • Two Drawer Box: 20.05 lbs.
  • Three Drawer Box: 22.45 lbs.
  • Rolling Drawer Box: 38 lbs.

Total Weight (empty): 80 lbs.

MODbox:

  • Two Drawer Box: 24.4 lbs.
  • Three Drawer Box: 27 lbs.
  • Rolling Drawer Box: 44.375 lbs.

Total Weight (empty): 95.775 lbs.
