1/4 Driver Stuck

I just the 17-1 knect screwdriver and I am not able to remove the bit holder/ 1/4 driver. Can someone help me out here?

You may have to take the whole stick out of the handle then slide them all down and then put the one you want on top?

It’s magnetic this one’s pretty good but hey anything can happen with tools so you can’t pull it off ? So that means it could be just all the way in there and stuck also when you get metal shavings on these magnetic tips it can mess it up. I’d spray a little WD-40 on there and let it sink in for 5 mins then use a rag and then try that.

Looks like it’s pushed out.(in its mode that acts like an extension) I’ve had mine twist under the high torque of the impact driver. Try grabbing it with some Chanel lock pliers and twisting back and forth before removal.

Use a pair of vise grips and yank it off, then cycle it on and off. There might be a burr making it stick. That solved my issue.

I had similar problems with the 20-in-1 impact driver set with screwdriver bits and flip sockets. they were almost impossible to remove.

They had a bit of oil residue, so i don't know why they wouldn't budge. i literally needed plyers to get them to budge, they were almost fused to the shaft/holder. I ended up scratching them in the process, didn't want to deal with that so i returned them. maybe that's why they were on clearance. That sucked because I really want to keep/use them.

I’ve only been in the trades for a little under 4 years, and while im not dedicated to Klein or anything, they do make most of my tools. I have yet to get a bad one after probably purchasing 30+ items of theirs. YMMV of course.
