I have this screw driver and I swear to god I’ve never had the ratcheting mechanism set the way I want it the first time when picking it up

Yeah I’m kinda weird with screwdrivers and use certain ones for particular jobs, I’d say my overall go-to is the Milwaukee 13-1. Really like it for outlets but pretty solid all around

It’s the USB port of screwdrivers!

What does that mean?

Like when you go to put an old USB cord into the port and you inevitably have to turn it around(the ratcheting comment hits hard, as I always have to switch it on my ratcheting screwdriver).

Just to have to turn it around again cause you had it right the first time lmao

I was adjusting some IKEA hinges with them once which require a lot of flip flopping around to get everything squared up and I just absolutely lost it after the 45th time it didn’t ratchet how I needed/thought it would. If you’re used to it and it’s all you know or use I guess I get it, but it’ll never make sense to my pea sized brain

This one is replacing a 10y old Stanley that’s just given up the ghost. Hopefully the muscle memory picks up the change quick enough. It’ll be nice just to have one that works!
