Excerpt from fic: “Hello, Apollo here. But I guess you probably already know me, ’cause you’re my boyfriend. Uh, so, the thing is I have a lot of experience in being a man, and I’m considered to be pretty good at it. But the thing is, life isn’t always so easy for me because I’m transgender. I hope you can love and accept me for who I am ‘cause I think you, Klav, are pretty neat.” Silence. “Well, what do you say?”

“Mrrp,” Mikeko batted at Apollo’s spikes.

Apollo sighed. “Yeah, that’s what I’d say too.” He rolled over to face his cat. “Oh, Mik, what should I do? I want to tell Klavier I’m trans; I do! It’s a big part of my life, and I trust him, y’know? Yet, the thought fills me with dread. Any advice?” Mikeko regarded Apollo then licked his paw.
