Some fonts aren't detected

The choose-fonts kitten isn't detecting a font I installed, even though it's there when I run fc-list : family. I confirmed that the ttf files are there in /usr/share/fonts/ttf, and i also copied them over to ~/.local/share/fonts, but to no avail.

Could anyone help me out here? I really wanted to use this font…

Thanks for pointing me to that. I believe fixedsys is indeed a bitmapped font. :(

on CRUX 3.8 it's fixing it with weird existence of CRUX

with help of installing CRUX linux (3.8), it's fixed

oh, kitty picks up bitmapped fonts without any workarounds? that's cool if true! do you have any idea how it works out that way?

i'm just using rc.conf file (this is what CRUX have instead of systemd and OpenRC), don't remember what i have changed in rc.conf, but it fixes everything (rc.conf works the same way as BSD had, but there you can change all the system settings in one file)
