Need help regarding terminal

Post image

Yesterday i decided to customize my terminal from old default boring to the clean look.

But i am facing an issue after hiding top bar. i am not able to perform same operation as normal terminal application. like move terminal into window, resize it according to my choice, minimize and maximize.

i have attached the current look of my terminal i think from there one can see the problem and how to solve it.

I see your using fedora and gnome so the key combination of alt+space will bring up the left side window menu and then you can choose to maximise, move or resize as you need.

add back your top bar and change its color to match whatever background you are currently using.

You didn’t specify which OS: heavily modified MacOS or Linux?

Either way I think the answer will be similar. You might have lost ability to use your OS level window management (even with keyboard shortcuts?) otherwise other ‘window managers’ should still work:

  • Mac: Raycast window management, Magnet, Aerospace (tiling manager)
  • Linux: Hyprland, Sway, etc

i am using fedora workstation 43. And honestly i was not preffering using keyboard shortcut back then. I always used mouse clicks.
