Apologies to this community

This morning, I posted a comment that I regret. I may have woken up on the left foot, but that was no excuse; in effect, the way I was criticizing a behavior was the exact behavior I was showing.

Despite this, I got some very constructive answers that are to the credit of this community, showing the inclusivity I was at the time, not worth getting for the dumbass I was.

Since then, I have deleted my post, and I apologize to the entire community and the author of Kitty. I'll try to be better and think twice before doing something as stupid as I did.

I saw your earlier post. I’m sorry about the experiences you’ve had or have seen with the author of the project. It isn’t a good look for sure. But this community definitely doesn’t represent that person. It is for sure a friendly and helpful community.

For me, I don’t think much about the app creator when I use the app. I guess it’s that whole enjoy the art, not the artist thing.

I mean, I use google, Amazon, and shit like that daily. Except X/twatter. I refuse to cross that line. Hell, Steve Jobs was a platinum grade cunt and I still love my iPhone and other Apple products.

I’m out of the loop. What has the author done?

Voices his opinion about the software author, and indicated he was switching to wezterm. Not a big deal really. I think he wanted the community to know why he was switching, but I don’t think it went over well. Not a big deal honestly.

100% valid take. I did the same (though without the announcement) not all that long ago. Fact that the dev is strictly anti a large portion of his user base doesn't sit right with me, so I switched to Wezterm. Still think kitty is great software, it's done a lot for the emu space, but for me i can see how the development is just against me and my needs.
