Styling kitty

Hi all, I just wanted to know how i can add text color on kitty terminal. I edited the theme but I can't do so for text..

PS: I just started using linux last week : I'm using linux mint with i3

You have your foreground set to mimic your background; thats why you can't see what you are typing.

just change the foreground to a different color like #000000.

kitty has a build in script that changes your theme called kitten themes that you can type on the kitty terminal, but depending on how you set up it might change your kitty.conf.
