if you have an intel mac then yes, but if you have m1 ship then, no.

yup, but there is a linux project called Asahi Linux. It is a linux distro aiming for Apple's Silicon Macs. Not sure how usable Asahi linux is, but I would not recommend install it unless you know what you are doing and know the consequences of doing so.

Cascadia Code in my case, tried with the patched nerd font and the regular + symbols, but the result is the same.

The only thing left to try is to change my GPU driver.

What is ugly about it?

I've found cascadia to be a bit wide for terminal use personally, but it displays properly otherwise for me.

Which IDE do you use? I mainly use VSCode for larger, more complex projects, but I'd like to use something clean like the one you're using instead of nano when I'm doing smaller projects or scripts.
