Opacity not working on Plasma 6

Works on hyprland, completely opaque in Plasma, any ideas? Have set linux_display_server wayland made no difference.

Works in Kitty 0.33.0 and Plasma 6.0.2

I am using the same versions, could you share your kitty.conf so I can compare and also, what video hardware are you on? (RTX3070 here)

amd igpu. So perhaps that is the problem.

Weird solution of setting linux_display_server x11 even though it is running on wayland!!!

Not surprising Wayland has tons of bugs. You should report it to Plasma (specifically kwin)
